Stir Hope Ministries Limited is an organisation that is in direct response to the growing number of vulnerable orphans, widows and hurting women that have lost hope for the future. The organisation is to identify vulnerable orphans, widows and hurting women in different communities, hence connecting them to the ministry needed for each . The focus is slightly different at each level but the goal remains the same; Changing lives spiritually and holistically. 8 Over time, SHML will create a discipleship environment that will be an invaluable resource to orphans, widows and hurting women and the community at large.

To provide a holistic transformation of young people and disadvantaged communities by identifying the needs, take decision criteria, analyse alternatives, develop and deploy solutions; that is; offering training, empowerment and exposure to life-changing innovations.

Currently, the life expectancy of Ugandans is low at approximately 63.37 years since 2019 this makes the rising numbers of orphans and widows grow high. Many women are hurt / broken because of the high crisis in marriages in Uganda. Therefore these groups are being served by Stir Hope Ministries Limited.

Stir Hope Ministries Limited is a non-profit organisation changing the lives of orphans, widows, hurting / broken women holistically and their spiritual well-beingthroughdiscipleship, abundant life coaching,life skills training and providing the identified basic needs. Our goal is to foster a commitment to orphans, widows and hurting / broken women that will restore, renew and rebuild their lives spiritually, pointing them to their first love and holistically changing their day-to-day living hence reasserting a sense of hope in the future.

Almost 50% of Uganda’s population is of age group 0-14 years which is the next generation that needs to be built. Most of these children tend to be orphans and are left illiterate. In addition to the above many women whose husbands have passed away are left helpless and there are many early marriages as well hence increased hurting in women and depression cases. These vulnerable orphans, widows and hurting women have lost faith in the possibilities that await them if they are successful in putting their lives together. To accomplish this goal, these vulnerable orphans, widows and hurting women must be pointed back to their First Love, restored, renewed and rebuilt in all aspects of their lives to create again that smile, hope and future.
