Stir Hope Ministries Limited is a non-profit organisation that focuses on changing the lives of orphans, widows, hurting / broken women holistically and their spiritual well-being through discipleship, abundant life coaching, life skills training and providing the identified basic needs. Stir Hope Ministries Limited’s goal is to foster a commitment to orphans, widows and hurting / broken women that will restore, renew and rebuild their lives spiritually, pointing them to their First Love and holistically changing their day-to-day living hence reasserting a sense of hope in the future.

Advocates for children and human rights, dignity and integrity as well as safety and security. We implement legal and administrative measures aimed at stopping the stigma of illiteracy among orphanage children in Uganda, combating violence against children and ensuring that children are safe, healthy, and motivated hence enhancing societal sustainability and prosperity

SHML incorporates the following principles into all aspects of its services including development and service improvement. SHML will:
● Actively promote the rights of children/orphans in line with national legislation and International conventions
● Develop support services based on a definition of community need that encompasses and values professional, social and life skills, physical and mental well-being, economic, spiritual and personal independence.
● Promote zero tolerance of violence against women, children and girls in the workplace, society and in private space.

Brief introduction about Josephina
She is an orphan and previously was staying with her grandfather who sexually assaulted her. She sees no hope for the future but with your help it could be lightened up with basic needs, education and psychology needs to get out of the trauma. She is currently under our foster family.

Sarah is a very lively and happy girl who lives and has grown up with her disabled father. They both have no clue of the mother’s whereabouts. They had lost hope of what the future holds. Her education needs, being a girl child she needs more guidance. Currently under our foster family.
